 Jeanne Richter Camp Director
Jeanne has had a varied career background before becoming Camp Director. She was in retailing for a number of years including many years at Bloomingdales in New York where she graduated from their Executive Training Program. After completion of the training she went on to hold various manger and buying positions. Jeanne decided that she was fascinated by computers and went back to college and earned a degree in Computer Science. She spent twenty two years in the telecommunications industry. She traveled around the United States installing software for the Bell Telephone System Companies.
Jeanne has loved all animals and especially dogs from early childhood. Her first dog a Boston Terrier was actually owned by her grandparents. She and her cousin Nancy thought she was the most beautiful dog in the world and named her BB, short for Bridget Bardot. Throughout her life she has had various animal companions. Currently, she and her husband live in New Jersey with Polish Lowland Sheepdogs Zorro, Zeta and the Zuni Princess. She began attending Camp fourteen years ago quickly became addicted and attended all three sessions every year. Jeanne became the Director of Camp in the Fall of 2004 after working in the corporate world for 30 plus years. She loves her job and looks forward to welcoming the returning Camp Alums and the newcomers.
